I hope every has had a wonderful Holiday! I am enjoying my little break too! I have been taking this last week to catch up and get my business plan ready for the upcoming year. I’m trusting that God will lead me in what He has for me this year in ministry, in life, and in this business. I am making my list of goals and New Years resolutions as well. Also check back with in the next few days for links to the NEW WEBSITE and new things that I am really excited to share about !!!! P.S. Flourish Studio is now an LLC in Colorado ! Hurray!

Cayden – Christmas Eve Morning!

This morning I got together with one of my best friends Lindsay to take some pictures of her first nephew Cayden! He is so cute look at those blue eyes! In May he will be a big brother! Now I’m off to gannny’s house in Longmont then I will be back for Christmas Eve service at church. I’m excited to see Michelle’s Modern Day Mary skit! I couldn’t decide if I liked the black and white or color better so you can just see them both. I’ll add more later.

HAHA I finally got all of the Christmas cards sent out today! The inside says “Better then a lump of coal…” Not REALLY sure what that means but its funny and goofy and that is totally us. We took that picture of our fireplace and then took pictures of each other to come out with the masterpiece that is our Christmas card. So be looking for them in the mail! Enjoy!

I had such a great time tonight with Kacey, Ishaku, and baby Josiah (AKA the cutest most mellow little stud muffin ever!) So coolest story ever – Kacey met Ishaku in Africa while she was on a missions trip and fell in love!! Along the road came marriage and Josiah! I just LOVED hearing about that! SOOOO cool! Don’t you just love the suit that Josiah is wearing!? Oh and the awesome TINY boots! Kacey is quite the photog herself so it was an honor that she choose me to take her family pictures this year!

Rachel & Noah are some of our amazing friends (they were even married a week after us and stayed in the same resort as we did for the honeymoon!) this is the Miracle … Lucy ! p.s. I love you Rachel!!! Lucy’s parents are *rockstars* (literally) so it only fits that she is in a guitar case!

Festive Flourishes *

I took a few pictures of my Christmas tree this year! My theme is really silver & white , and yes it is a fake tree (it spins too!) I can’t stand the thought of a tree that grows for 8 years being cut down just for my use of 1 month! I know they are grown for that purpose but what if- they were all planted and then just grew! I do love the smell and look of real trees and we had them growing up! But after going through the trouble of tying them on the roof of the car and them flying off the top of my car into traffic a few years in a row we were over it! HAHA.

Speer Blvd

Wow! I love the Speer’s so much! They are pretty much *ROCKSTARS*! Cameron is the biggest ham funniest kid ever and loves jumping, showing off his “shoes”, making goofy faces, and trying to moon the camera apparently. Taylor is a stud. And Kelsey “K-force” is like the sweetest, most amazing girl EVER. We had a good ol’ time in LoDo and had a homeless man come talk to us and called them “The partridge family” once all the guitars were out.
